Donaghue had qualified for the July 4th final in the event which was televised live nationally with a 10th place effort the previous Monday in the preliminary race. Representing the New Balance Boston running club, Donaghue clocked a time of 15 minutes, 35.48 seconds in the 5K finals which was nearly three seconds faster than her time in Monday's prelim race.]]></description>
